On this CD, Lois Aichberger’s Big Band, together with the composers Josef Wagner, Lorenz Raab, Andi Pranzl (music) and Irina Karamarkovic (words, voice) transform the touching impressions of life before, during and after Kosovo war into colourful, lyric and yet energetic music. Showing a lot of stylistic diversity, the L.A.-Big Band incorporates break-beats and jazz soloing as well as impressionistic, orchestral sounds.
